Looking for screen-free fun for young fans of monsters and make believe? This super cute, not-very-scary monster-making felt board set is a wonderful quiet toy for children ages 3 to 7+, keeping them busy and engaged in open-ended, screen-free, imaginative play (with all sorts of early learning secretly tucked inside).
📏These monsters are sized just right for little hands, and are designed to fit as a group and be played with on a Flannel Board Fun 12 x 18" Play Mat, as pictured. The pieces range in size from around 1" (smallest eyeballs) to about 5" (monsters). They'll work on any felt or flannel board.
Kids love using the five large bases and assortment of interchangeable pieces to create, take apart, and re-create their very own hilarious monsters! You might be just a little amazed at the sorting, counting, color naming and other math skills that occur naturally as your children play with this set. These are lovely! My 18 month-old is currently obsessed with stickers and Mr. Potato Head, and this monster set is the best of both worlds. The pieces are cute, clever, and beautifully made; I know she’ll enjoy them for years. We also adored the song lyrics and book recommendations that came along with the set.
