This Hanukkah (or Chanukah)-themed activity toy is designed in the style of a quiet book for soft, portable play. Made of soft, fuzzy, high quality wool-blend felt that children love to hold and handle, this felt board toy makes a great gift for a girl or boy from 3-5 years old.
Accompanied by a list of teacher suggested picture books, as well as lyrics to related rhymes, songs, and poems, this simple-to-use, open-ended Hanukkah toy makes a perfect gift for young children too young for real candles and/or just learning about the Festival of Lights!
Children ages 3-7+ will love pretending and imagining with the two felt children. And they're able to create and re-create the lighting of the menorah as well as other traditions of Hanukkah, such as frying latkes or icing sufganyiot. Familiarity with Jewish symbols and Hanukkah traditions occur naturally as children play with this set, at home or on the go when combined with the play mat shown.
This set includes two felt children; a felt menorah, nine candles and flames; frying pan and two latkes; four pieces of gelt; four dreidels; and two sufganyiot with icing and cherries. The menorah is 6 3/4" wide and 3 1/2 inches tall. Dreidels are about 2 inches tall. Colors will vary based on my felt stash š

Wendy, The Hanukah flannel board, traditional items, envelope, and carrying case made a beautiful, fun filled, entertaining , and creative time for all. Each part of the set is well made and easy to handle. Though I bought it for my toddler grandson; his older siblings, mom , and grandparents enjoyed the activities presented with the song and game sheet. Granpa even came up with another game, where pieces of paper with a small amount of money was written and then put under one of the traditional Hanukah pieces to find in 3 guesses. Just a suggestion for more play! Also, Wendy, I appreciate the conversation we had before buying. Thank you for making our Hanukah time brighter and happier.
